There are certain instances where people have made use of polytunnels for the purpose of growing grapes. The centre of the tunnel can prove to be a good place to plant the vines. Care should be taken that they are at a distance from the side. This permits the circulation of air to take place in a proper manner. If the tunnel happens to be very large in size, then you can even plant the vines in two separate rows. The space between them should be same as when you plant them outdoors. The soil for growing grapes should have humus. Weeds should be uprooted each time. Vine begins to crop after 3 years. Bunches of grapes should be thinned out when it reaches the size of a pea.
