First of all you need to the get a fertile soil for tomatoes. There should be worm casting to make the soil porous. You can add rotted manure, peat moss or any other organic matter to the soil. When you are planting the tomatoes see to it that they are about ¼ inches deep. Use a fluorescent light under which you can put these sprouts for 18 or more hours each day.
In the daytime, the ideal temperature for tomatoes is 70-75 degrees, while in the night time it should be 65-67 degrees. On reaching a level of 12 inches or more, the tomatoes plants should be planted again in one gallon. The plants will be ready to produce fruits after around 6 or 8 weeks. When you try forced flowering, the pamst may flower within 60 to 80 days. The final transpantation is done in 3 gallon containers. In the first two weeks the ppants require heavy dose of 10-52-70 or similar fertilizer. 800 ppm water should be given to them.
These plants grow ideally in a temperature that is 65 to 70 percenthumid and moist. The pollination is done preferably around noon time. For the flowers to develop healthy fruits there should be strong light conditions. Once the fruitng begins, give the plants a dose of calcium and magnesium. Prunning of the suckers should be done during the flowering because they take up the food meant for your tomatoes. With a correct manipulation of the dark and light periods you will surely get the quality of tomatoes you always wanted.
