Optimum Temperature:
If the temperature will come down or lower than the requirement of plants, they will stop their development. If the temperature will begin to increase above the base temperature plants will grow faster. As above-mentioned different plants need different level of temperature. The exact requirement of temperature for plants is called Optimum Temperature. You have to make minimum temperature in the greenhouse.
What is an optimum temperature for one plant may create difficulties for another plants. Enhance it is better if you use smaller greenhouses so that you can maintain constant temperature in a greenhouse. Follow some tips that are given bellow.
Seed Germination:
Very cold temperature during seed germination will delay germination process. Proper temperature gives proper benefit to germination while lower temperature reduces the seed germination uniformity. For instance, level of temperature between 72F and 76F is good for media. Some crops tolerate optimum temperature easily.
Timetable:
If the temperature will lower in a greenhouse it will increase production time and flowering time. Some plants require more time for the production of flower and fruits; and actually it depends on weather. If there is cold weather in a greenhouse, use technology such as artificial lighting, timer, thermometer and so on. For these activities, you can do one thing. Learn about plans growing systems thoroughly. Once you came to know about the crop make timetable and follow it.
Plant Quality:
Some crops quality increase at lower temperatures. When crops will grow in cool temperature branching, size of flowers, flowers number will often increases. So create, provide and keep balance of temperature in a greenhouse.
Water Uptake and Nutrition:
Very cold temperature will slows the uptake of water and nutrients. It will not provide proper temperature to the plants. It is because many types of compost provide nutrients and other items to the plants. If they will not get good water they will automatically affect on plants developments. It will be better if you use technology and good fertilizers that can be helpful to create good temperature in a greenhouse.
