from:

There are quite a few different types of bonsai tree that you can choose from, but the Juniper bonsai definitely always ranks in at the top. This is because the Juniper bonsai trees offer the owners so many advantages, advantages which you are going to want to be aware of before getting one of these trees for yourself.

Now if you already have Juniper bonsai tree or two and you just need tips on pruning Juniper bonsai now, there are a few in particular that you are going to find very helpful to you here.

How to Prune the Juniper

So when it comes to pruning Juniper bonsai, one of the most important things to know when you are pruning Juniper bonsai is that bonsai take on different styles. You don’t have to clone one of your Juniper bonsai trees after another, but you do want to make sure that they are all kept neat and tidy, because after all that is the whole premise behind having bonsai trees in the first place.

Watering is of course very important, whether you have a Juniper bonsai or any other type. Just as with any other plant, if you do not water it enough then the roots are not going to get the moisture that they need to strive and grow and the plant will die. By far, watering is the most important aspect of all when it comes to caring for a bonsai.

You should never just plan when you are going to water a bonsai, because the time it is going to take for the soil to dry out will depend on different factors such as where you live and what season you are going through. Instead, you are going to want to feel the soil with your fingertips to see how moist it is.

Pruning is of course another major issue that you will have to take care of when pruning Juniper bonsai. You will need to get the appropriate tools for this, and never ever think that you can prune a bonsai tree with scissors or any other basic tools. You are going to need to get shears and cutting tools that are specifically designed for bonsai trees, to get the best results.

It is important to take the time to do as much research as possible before getting something like a bonsai tree, so that you know how to properly care for it and help it to strive.
